The decision was taken after the board found that several schools still have pending practical examinations with marks yet to be uploaded online.
The first phase of the UP Board Class 12 practical exams 2026 was supposed to be held from January 24 to February 1, whereas the second phase was scheduled from February 2 to 9.

Upload marks before new deadline: UP board to schools
“Due to the fact that some schools have pending practical examinations and their marks have not been uploaded online after the stipulated time period, the dates for the first and second phases of Intermediate practical examinations are being extended to February 13, 2026, in the interest of students,” Bhagwati Singh, secretary, UP Board of Secondary Education.
The board has also directed all examiners and school principals to complete the remaining practical examinations and ensure 100 percent uploading of practical marks on the board’s official website before February 13.
“If the result of any candidate is affected due to not uploading the marks within the stipulated time, then the concerned examiner, principal and the district school inspector of the district will be fully responsible for the same for lax supervision,” the board said.
