Download NowNEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) recorded the best-ever results for Class 10 and Class 12 this year. The overall pass percentage of Class 12 is at 97.88%, while Class 10 recorded 99.53%. The UP high school students scored higher than the intermediate students this time. The UP board released the matric and inter results 2021 today at 3.30 pm at upmsp.edu.in.

This year, a total of 29,96,031 students had registered for UP high school , of which 29,82,055 have cleared the exam. Among these students are 16,76,916 boys and 13,19,115 girls.
As many as 26,10,247 students registered for the UP Class 12 exam , out of which 25,54,813 students cleared the exam.
In one of the largest board results, 55,36,868 students were declared pass today by the UP Board. In both UP Class 12 and Class 12 results 2021, girls performed better than boys.

In a first, the UP board declared the 10th and 12th results without conducting exams. The students of both classes were evaluated based on alternative assessment criteria.
According to the UP Board assessment criteria for Class 12, 50% weightage of the marks obtained in high school,10% of Class 12 pre-board exams, and 40% of the half-yearly exam marks will be considered. For UP board high school, 50% marks of Class 9 and 50% marks of Class 10 pre-board exams will be considered.
