UPESSC opens UP TET 2026 certificate correction facility

The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) has provided an online facility to apply for corrections in certificates issued for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2026) and obtain revised certificates. Candidates can apply for corrections in their certificates through the link available on the commission's official website at certificates.upessc.org/.

The UPESSC’s deputy secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh said that a correction fee of Rs 200 has been fixed for issuing revised certificates.

Candidates have been advised to read the guidelines available on the commission's website before applying and submit their applications according to the prescribed procedure. Once a correction has been made in the certificate, candidates will not be given another opportunity to make any further corrections, the UPESSC press release said.

Any UPTET 2026 certificate correction application sent by post, representations or through any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates can rectify errors in the names, dates of birth, and categories on UPTET 2026 certificates.

UPTET Result 2026

Following the declaration of the UPTET 2026 results, the UPESSC constituted a committee to address grievances raised by candidates seeking revisions in the results. However, the commission rejected representations seeking changes in optical mark recognition (OMR) and normalisation of results , after reviewing all grievances.

UPESSC has also announced the special UP TET 2026 dates. UPESSC will conduct the special UPTET 2026 exam on November 3. This year, over 13.3 lakh candidates qualified in the UPTET 2026 examination.
