UPSC CSE Prelims 2024: Delhi, Noida metro train services to start at 6 am tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination - preliminary (UPSC CSE 2024) exam is scheduled to be held tomorrow. In this regard, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will commence the train services from 6 am on Sunday. The UPSC CSE prelims 2024 exam will commence at 9 am for the forenoon session and at 2 pm for the afternoon session.
UPSC aspirants should note that the entry to the venue will be closed 30 minutes before the exam commences on June 16.
Yesterday, the DMRC announced that the metro services on phase 3 sections will be made available from 6 am to facilitate the UPSC aspirants. “Metro train services on Phase-III sections, which usually begin at 8 am on Sundays, will begin at 6 am on June 16,” Anuj Dayal, the DMRC's principal executive director (corporate communication) told the PTI.
The Phase-III sections include trains running between Dilshad Garden-Shaheed Sthal, Noida City Centre-Noida Electronic City, Mundka-Brigadier Hoshiar Singh, Badarpur Border-Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh), Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar, Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden, and Dhansa Bus Stand-Dwarka.

Later in the day, the NMRC also announced to help aspirants appearing for UPSC CSE prelims 2024 by providing metro services on the Aqua Line of the metro corridor between the twin cities from 6 am.
The National Capital Regional Transport Corporation (NCRTC) also said that the Namo Bharat train services will be provided from 6 am to 10 pm on Sunday in view of the upcoming UPSC examination. The step was taken to help candidates appearing for the UPSC exam at centres located around the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor.
