UPSC IFS Main 2024: DAF 1 released; fill application form by September 5

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Indian Forest Services (IFS) Main 2024 exam today, August 27. Candidates who qualified the prelims exam can fill the UPSC IFS (Main) 2024 DAF on the official website, upsc.gov.in. The last date to fill the detailed form is September 5 till 6 pm.
“All the qualified candidates are required to fill up the DAF-I online and submit the same online for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2024,” said UPSC in an official notice.
Before filling up the online form, the qualified candidates are required to get themselves registered on the website first. The commission asked candidates to apply well in advance and not wait for the last date to submit the application.
“It may be noted that as per Rules of Indian Forest Service Examination- 2024, any delay in submission of the DAF-I or documents in support beyond the prescribed date will not be allowed and will lead to cancellation of the candidature for the IFoS Examination, 2024,” the commission added.
How to fill UPSC DAF for IFS Main 2024?
The steps to fill UPSC IFS DAF 2024 are as follows:
- Go to the official website, upsconline.nic.in
- Click on the new registration button and register yourselves
- Login using the OTR or email ID or mobile ID
- Go to the latest notification tab and apply for exam
UPSC IFS prelims result 2024 was declared on July 1 for the exam held on June 16. Candidates who cleared the exam will be appearing for the mains exam.
