UPTAC 2026 round 1 counselling registration deadline extended to June 22; required documents

AKTU has extended the UPTAC 2026 counselling registration date. Candidates can now apply till June 22 and check the complete counselling timeline
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has extended the counselling registration dates for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2026. Now, candidates can fill out the forms till June 22, 2026. Earlier, the last date for the registration was June 15, 2026. Applicants can register on the official portal of UPTAC at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
This counselling process is for the admissions to first-year and second-year undergraduate courses offered by AKTU-affiliated institutes and other participating state universities. The registration process was started on May 25, 2026.
Candidates can keep all necessary documents ready before filling out the UPTAC BTech 2026 application form. These include a valid mobile number and email ID, JEE Main 2026 registration credentials, parent's domicile certificate, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, and a valid photo identity proof. Applicants belonging to reserved categories should also keep their caste certificate ready, if applicable.
In addition, candidates must upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Details of a credit card, debit card, net banking account, or demand draft will also be required for payment of the application fee.

UPTAC Counselling 2026: Steps to register
Applicants can register for the UPTAC 2026 counselling by using the steps given below:
- Access the official UPTAC counselling portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in
- Select the online counselling registration option available on the homepage
- Sign up using JEE Main 2026 credentials or details of the applicable entrance examination
- Generate login credentials and sign in to the candidate dashboard
- Enter the required personal, educational and examination-related information
- Upload a recent photograph, signature and other prescribed documents in the specified format
- Complete the payment of the counselling fee through available online methods
- Verify all entered information and submit the application form after ensuring its accuracy
Following the completion of the registration phase, AKTU will initiate the choice-filling process, after which seats will be allotted to eligible candidates applying for engineering, architecture, and various other professional programmes based on their preferences and merit.
