AKTU revises UPTAC counselling 2026 schedule; extends round 1 registration last date

UPTAC Counselling 2026: Candidates can apply for round 1 of BTech admissions on the official website, uptac.samarth.edu.in, till June 30; Registration fee is Rs 1,000
UPTAC Counselling 2026 : Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow has revised the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC 2026). Candidates can apply for BTech admissions through UPTAC counselling 2026 on the official website, uptac.samarth.edu.in.
UPTAC counselling 2026 registration fee is Rs 1,000.
To apply for UPTAC counselling 2026, candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, including chemistry, biotechnology, biology, or a technical vocational subject.
Also, candidates must have cleared the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main entrance exam to apply for UPTAC counselling 2026. There is no age limit to apply for UPTAC counselling.

Notably, candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from outside Uttar Pradesh must upload their parents’ domicile certificate at the time of registration and produce it during physical reporting and document verification.
