VIT extends ISDC partnership to its Chennai campus

An MoU was signed for the delivery of ACCA integrated qualifications at the university’s Chennai campus.
NEW DELHI: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai and the International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), U.K. It aims to provide global qualifications integrated with B. Com (Hons). This will equip the students with international expertise and help them to explore global job opportunities.

ISDC has partnered with VIT Vellore Campus regarding multiple programs since 2016. The new MoU was signed by the pro-vice-chancellor of the VIT University and the executive director - strategy & development at ISDC. This will initiate the delivery of ACCA Integrated Qualifications at the university’s Chennai Campus.
“Aimed at opening up multitudinous global job opportunities and engraving industry readiness, the collaboration will give our students the global exposure we have always wanted for them.”- said VS Kanchana Bhaaskaran, professor and pro-vice-chancellor, VIT University.
“The mandate of today’s MoU will make sure that frequent and exclusive international training sessions, workshops and seminars are conducted for the VIT students, helping them to get inculcated with further knowledge to be future-ready. We are looking forward to many more such successful collaborations with VIT in the future too.” - said Tom Joseph, executive director - strategy & development at ISDC,
This partnership will improve the student experience and impart in them the knowledge of industry-oriented analytic tools, strategies, and management. In-depth practical training on various subjects like global accounting, taxation, risk management and more are included.
