NEW DELHI, MARCH 14: Vellore Institute of Technology has extended the dates for VITEEE 2018 registrations, the annual entrance exam conducted by the institute for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes. The application was to close on March 15 but will now be available till March 18. The entrance exam of VITEEE is scheduled to be conducted from April 4 to 15, 2018 in three sessions. VITEEE result is expected to be announced on April 25, 2018.

Candidates willing to appear in VITEEE can fill and submit the application form till the last day. To fill the online application form, candidates will have to first register and then proceed to fill their personal details, contact details and qualifying exam details. After providing all the required details, candidates will have to pay the application fees amount of Rs 1150 in any of the modes convenient-net banking/ credit card or debit card.
Once the payment is successfully made, candidates will have to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature in the format officially prescribed.
For those candidates who want to fill the application form in offline mode, they can collect it from any of the VIT campuses - Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal or Amaravati (AP). They will be required to pay Rs 1200 through DD drawn in favour of VIT University payable at Vellore. The offline application form can also be collected from designated post offices by paying Rs 1200 in cash.
The application form of only those candidates will be accepted who meet the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. To be eligible, candidates must be Indian and have to be born on or after July 1, 1996. Candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 exam or have completed it with 60% aggregate marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry will be eligible to appear in VITEEE.
