WB Madhyamik Result 2023: Devadutta Majhi tops exam with 99.57%
WBBSE has declared WB Madhyamik result 2023 today. Devadutta Majhi secures ranks one while Subham Pal and Rifat Hassan Sircar share joint place for Rank 2.

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared the WB Madhyamik Class 10 results 2023 today, May 19, 2023. Candidate scan check their results on the official website- wbresults.nic.in. A total of 6,98,627 students appeared for Class 10 board exams this year. The overall pass percentage of the WB Madhyamik Class 10 result is 86.15%.

Devadutta Majhi becomes the Rank 1 topper passing the exam with 99.57% and 697 marks. The WB 10th result topper for rank 2 is shared between Subham Pal from North Bardhaman and Rifat Hassan Sircar, Ramkrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidya Mandir, from Malda with 98.71% and 691 marks.

While speaking to ABP Ananda, Devadutta Majhi said: "My mother got to know about my result over phone. I had hoped for a good result, I'd be in the top 10. I had a private tutor for practically every subject." Mahji wants to study in IIT, he further added.
A total of 118 students are in secure a spot in the top 10 ranks. These students are from a total of 16 districts. The districts with the highest numbers of rankers are Malda- 21; North Bardhaman- 17; Bankura- 14 and South 24 Pargana- 12.

After the release of Madhyamik WBBSE result 2023, students can get admission into Class 11 or diploma courses as per their interest. Students who secure at least 25% marks in each compulsory subject will get a passing grade in WB Madhyamik result 2023.
Those students that have failed two or more exams in the WB Madhyamik exam 2023 will have to appear for the WB supplementary exams 2023. Students that wish to get their answer sheets re-checked can apply for re-evaluation on the official website. Details on the compartment exam and re-evaluation will be declared soon.
