Students who fail in one or two subjects in West Bengal 10th result 2023 can appear in the compartment exams. Subham Pal from North Bardhaman and Rifat Hassan Sircar, Ramkrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidya Mandir from Malda secured Rank 2 in the WB Madhyamik result 2023.

Devdutta Majhi told ABP Ananda: "My mother got to know about my result over phone. I had hoped for a good result, I'd be in the top 10. I had a private tutor for practically every subject." Moreover, he also told that he wants to study in IIT.

In the WB Class 10 Madhyamik result, Devadutta Majhi from North Bardhaman secured rank 1 with 99.57%. Devadutta Majhi scored a total of 697 marks.

A total of 118 students are in the top 10 ranks. These students are from 16 districts. The districts with the highest numbers of rankers are Malda- 21, North Bardhaman- 17, Bankura- 14 and South 24 Pargana- 12.

The overall pass percentage of the WB Madhyamik Class 10 result is 86.15%.

Students need to score at least 25 percent marks in each subject and in total to pass in WB Madhyamik result 2023.

Students have to secure 34% in all subjects to clear the West Bengal Madhyamik exam.

As per a notice by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), Class 11 and 12 students will have to the option to choose either data science or artificial intelligence as well.
