WBPSC clerkship result 2023 out on psc.wb.gov.in: 89,821 qualify for part 2 exam

WBPSC Clerkship Result 2023: The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks from Part 1 and Part 2. Know the cut-off, tie-breaking rule.
The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced the clerkship results for Part 1 recruitment exam 2023. A total of 89,821 candidates are declared qualified for WBPSC clerkship part 2 exam 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results through the official website at psc.wb.gov.in.
The commission has announced the WBPSC clerkship result 2023 in the form of a PDF that carries the roll number of qualified candidates. WBPSC clerkship recruitment exam 2023 was conducted on November 16 and 17, 2024.
“Roll Numbers of 89,821 candidates who have been qualified for Clerkship Examination (Part-II), 2023 on the basis of the result of the Part-I of the said examination conducted on 16.11.2024 and 17.11.2024 arranged in ascending order,” the official notice said.
WBPSC Clerkship Result 2023: Tie-breaking criteria
Candidates who declared qualified in the WBPSC clerkship part 1 exam 2023 will now be eligible to appear for the part 2 exam. Candidates’ basic computer operation knowledge and typing skills will be assessed only after they have qualified in both Part 1 and Part 2 of the examination.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in both Part 1 and Part 2 of the examination, provided the candidates have qualified in the test assessing basic computer operation skills and typing ability.
Tie-breaking principles follow the order of preference where candidates with higher aggregate marks in English and Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, or Santali are given priority. If a tie remains, those with higher marks in English are preferred. If the tie still persists, the older candidate is given preference.
