Jadavpur University admission 2025 registration begins for BA, BSc after delay

WB Admissions 2025 : Jadavpur University (JU) has commenced the JU undergradute (UG) registration 2025 process. Candidates can now apply for West Bengal admission 2025 on the official website, admission.jdvu.ac.in. The admission process was put on hold after HC issued an interim stay on OBC status, as per media reports.

However, there was no official comment by JU to hold the admission registration process . As per the media reports, JU was seeking legal advice following the HC order for admissions to the arts and science departments.

The JU's bachelor of library and information science (BLISc) course registration last date is July 7. Candidates who have already applied for the course are not required to apply again.

The deadline for the four-year BA honours programme is July 3. The last date to submit fees for the admission test is July 5. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PD, and EWS categories have to pay Rs 100, while other candidates have to pay Rs 200 for the admission test.

The last date for the four-year BSc honours programme is July 4. After the last date of the registration process, a late application fee of Rs 200 will be charged for SC, ST, PD, EWS categories, and Rs 400 for other category candidates.

WBCAP Admissions 2025

WBCAP 2025 admissions are held for 460 government-aided colleges and 17 universities. Candidates can apply for WBCAP college admissions before July 1, without any fee charges. Candidates will get an advantage by upgrading to higher higher-ranked college based on the seat vacancy available during the admission process.

For WB admission 2025, candidates will need to register only once. After registration, candidates can apply to several departments of their choice, if eligible.
