West Bengal Board Exam 2021: State government cancels Madhyamik and HS exams

Enrol NowNEW DELHI: West Bengal government has cancelled the WB Class 12 and 10 board exam 2021, ANI tweeted. The decision to cancel WBBSE Board exam 2021 was made due to an exponential rise in the COVID-19 cases.
“West Bengal state board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 have been cancelled: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee,” according to a tweet by ANI.

The evaluation methods for West Bengal Class 10 and Class 12 students will be announced within seven days, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said, according to a NDTV report.
Students are advised to regularly check the board’s official website, wbchse.nic.in, for the latest updates. The WBBSE board results will be published on the official website of the West Bengal board. The WB Madhyamik and HS exams results can be checked online or via the SMS facility provided by the board.
Earlier, the West Bengal government formed an expert committee to take a decision on whether to conduct West Bengal board exam 2021 or not. The government also invited opinions of students and parents on the subject.
