AEEE 2020 exam starts; additional test dates announced

NEW DELHI: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting the AEEE 2020 exam as a remote proctored test from August 17 to 20 in four sessions per day. The Amrita engineering entrance test will be of 90 minutes and will have 60 multiple-choice questions spread over the three sections of the exam- Physics & Chemistry having 15 questions each and Mathematics having 30 questions.
Candidates were also required to mandatorily attempt the Amrita engineering practice test to appear in the actual exam. The AEEE 2020 practice test was conducted from August 14 to 16. However, now the authorities have allowed candidates to give practice tests one day before the exam. So, new candidates who opted for AEEE on August 18 can attempt the practice test on August 17, 2020 from 6-7 pm. Similarly, those who have the AEEE 2020 exam on August 19, can attempt the practice test on August 18 and those on August 20 can attempt it on August 19.
The authorities have also announced new additional exam dates for candidates who are not appearing for AEEE 2020 from August 17 to 20. The additional AEEE 2020 dates are August 25, 26 and 27. Candidates will be able to book their slots for the exam at amrita.edu from August 21 to 23. AEEE 2020 mock test for these candidates will be conducted on August 24.
AEEE 2020 result will be declared on or before August 30, 2020. The rank list will be prepared by aggregating 60% of PCM marks from AEEE 2020 and 40% of PCM Marks from +2 (or qualifying examination) after normalising the marks across various boards. The last date of AEEE 2020 application for JEE Main applicants is September 9.
