AFCAT 2024 registration window opens at afcat.cdac.in; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: Indian Air Force (IAF) has commenced the application process for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 today, May 30. Candidates who want to apply for the recruitment exam can fill the IAF AFCAT 2024 registration form through the official websites, careerindianairforce.cdac.in and afcat.cdac.in.
The AFCAT application process includes signing up, completing the application form, and paying the fee. Once the application window closes, candidates can edit certain details like name, father's name, photo, signature, and thumb impression.
Candidates have to pay Rs 550 plus GST to apply for AFCAT 2024 exam. The AFCAT 2024 application fee is the same for all categories. Both men and women are eligible to apply for the AFCAT 2 2024 exam.
AFCAT 2024: Total vacancies
The AFCAT 2024 examination aims to select individuals for the Flying Branch as well as the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The recruitment drive aim to fill a total of 317 vacancies in the department. The examination authority will conduct AFCAT 2024 on August 9, 10, and 11, 2024.
Candidates seeking entry into the Flying Branch should be between 20 and 24 years old, whereas for the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, the age limit is between 20 and 26 years. Educational prerequisites differ based on the specific role; however, a minimum of 60 percent in graduation is mandatory.
AFCAT 2024 Registration: Documents required
Candidates should keep the following documents ready to apply for AFCAT 2024 exam:
- Aadhaar Card
- Credit/Debit cards
- Marksheets of Class 12 and graduation/diploma/integrated postgraduation
- Scanned images of photograph, signature, and left thumb impression
