The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11. As per the notice, the online registration process will be open until August 13, 2026, at 5 pm on the official AIIMS examination portal.
This recruitment drive invites applicants who are interested in the posts of Nursing Officer (Group-B) at AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutions. The authority will release the number of vacancies notice separately.
Applicants who will be selected as nursing officers will get a salary in level 7 of the pay matrix, corresponding to the pre-revised pay band-2 of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs. 4,600.

AIIMS NORCET-11 Recruitment 2026: Steps to apply
To apply for the AIIMS NORCET-11 2026, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of AIIMS examination portal at aiimsexams.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the link related to NORCET-11
- Fill out the application form, upload the necessary documents, pay the application fees and then submit
- Download the finished application form and take a printout for future reference
Important dates
The recruitment exam will be held in two stages i.e., prelims and main exam. The CBT preliminary exam will be conducted on September 12, 2026, while the mains exam will be held on September 30, 2026. Both stages of the exam will be held as computer-based tests.
Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in both the exams, followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Application fees
The application fee for General, UR and OBC candidates is Rs 3000/-, while for SC, ST and EWS aspirants, the application fee is Rs 2400/-. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are not required to pay the application fee.
The application fees for the SC and ST candidates will be refunded by the AIIMS after the declaration of results, subject to verification of their category certificates.
