UPTAC BTech registration 2026 reopens at uptac.samarth.edu.in; how to apply

AKTU has reopened UPTAC BTech 2026 registration for JEE Main-qualified candidates. Applications can be submitted online till July 20 with a mandatory APAAR ID
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has reopened the registration process for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) B.Tech 2026 on the official website UPTAC at uptac.samarth.edu.in. The last date to fill out the UPTAC 2026 application form till July 20, 2026. An APAAR ID is compulsory for UPTAC 2026 registration.
Only candidates who have a valid JEE Main 2026 rank can apply for UPTAC counselling 2026. The registration fee is Rs 1000 for all categories which can be paid online only. Applicants are informed that the fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
The documents which needed to be uploaded while filling out the form are signature, photograph, experience/category certificates and educational documents.

UPTAC B.Tech Registration 2026: Steps to register
To fill out the UPTAC B.Tech 2026 registration form, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of UPTAC at uptac.samarth.edu.in
- On the login page, enter the details, including JEE Main application number and password
- Fill out the details, including personal, academic, registered address, category and more
- Upload the relevant document, make the payment and then submit
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference
UPTAC B.Tech Registration 2026: Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for B.Tech (LE) must possess a diploma from a recognised institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, while SC/ST candidates are eligible with 55% marks. For B.Tech (BT) admissions, applicants should have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with physics and mathematics/biology as the main subjects. Those seeking admission to B.Tech (AG) must have cleared the 10+2 examination from a recognised board with physics/agriculture physics and chemistry as their core subjects.
