The admit card-cum-hall ticket is available in online mode only and can be downloaded by logging into the admit card download portal using the Payment Reference ID, Registration Number, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No, Mobile Number and Date of Birth. How to download the hall ticket
Candidates must download the hall ticket before the last day, as it will not be available for download once the period expires. Follow the steps given here to download the hall ticket:
- Go to the AP EAMCET website (http://sche.ap.gov.in)
- Click on the admit card download link

Log-in to the portal the following details
Payment Reference ID
Registration Number
Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No
Mobile Number
Date of Birth - Upon successful log-in, the admit card would be displayed on screen
The candidate needs to take a printout of the admit card after verifying that the information mentioned on it are legible and correct. If there is any discrepancy, the candidate must get in touch with exam conducting authorities without delay.
Details mentioned on the admit card
The admit card will carry personal details like the name, gender and sex of the candidate. It will also carry exam related details like the candidate’s roll number, exam centre details, and time and date of the exam, apart from exam guidelines.
Documents to carry alongside the admit card
On the day of the exam, candidates need to carry with them a printout of the completed application form with a passport size photograph duly attached on the appropriate place. The photograph must be attested by a Principal of College or Gazetted Officer (GO). If the candidate belongs to SC or ST category, they must in addition bring the relevant caste certificate as well.
The pattern of the exam
AP EAMCET is a computer-based exam that is conducted every year for admission to B.Tech courses in engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can attempt the exam in either English or Telugu. Question are multiple type, with Mathematics carrying the maximum weightage. Of the total 160 questions asked, Mathematics contributes 80 questions, while Physics and Chemistry have 40 questions each.
As per the marking scheme of the test, 1 mark is allotted for a correct attempt. There is no negative marking. The total duration of the test is 3 hours.
Answer keys and declaration of result
The result of the entrance exam will be declared on May 5, 2018. The exam authorities will also publish a provisional answer key on April 25, after conclusion of the exam. Using the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores, which can be used for deciding future course of action without waiting for final results. Candidates who have any objections with regard to the provisional answer keys will be able to send in their complaints from April 28 onwards. The final answer key will be published by the authority concerned after considering all complaints.
