NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will close the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) 2024 registration without late fee today, May 15. Eligible candidates can fill up the AP EdCET 2024 application form by visiting the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
The AP EdCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 8 in a single shift from 9 am to 11 am. Candidates who apply after the registration deadline will be required to submit their applications with a late fee of Rs 1,000. The deadline for submission of late applications is from May 16 to May 19.
Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 650 to register for the AP EdCET 2024 exam. For candidates from the backward class (BC) category, the application fee is Rs 500. Scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 450 to register for AP EdCET 2024.
The APSCHE will open the AP EdCET 2024 application form correction window for four days from May 22 to May 25. The AP EdCET 2024 admit card will be issued on May 30 at the official website.
The APEdCET exam is administered by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, to facilitate admission into the Bachelor of Education (BEd) regular course and BEd special education programme offered by universities in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-2025.

The AP EDCET 2024 exam will have three sections including part A, part B, and part C carrying 150 questions in total. Candidates will get two hours to complete the exam. As per the marking scheme, candidates will get one mark for each correct answer and no marks will be deducted for incorrect responses.
