NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will close the registration window for the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET) 2024 counselling today, August 30. Eligible candidates should register for AP EDCET counselling 2024 through the official website, edcet-sche.aptonline.in.
As per the revised schedule, the institute will begin the web options exercise for AP EDCET counselling 2024 from September 3 to September 7, 2024. The change of web options will be available on September 8, 2024. The allotment of seats for the first phase of counselling will take place on September 10, 2024.
To register for the AP EDCET counselling 2024, candidates from the Other Castes (OC) and Backward Classes (BC) categories will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 1,200, while candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) categories will need to pay Rs 600.

AP EDCET Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates’ age should be 19 years old as of July 1 of the year the notification is issued to be eligible for the AP EDCET counselling 2024. There shall be no maximum age limit.
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Science in Home Science, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or Bachelor of Business Management (BBA) or in a relevant post-graduate degree, or a five-year integrated course in the relevant subject or an equivalent qualification. Candidates from the reserved category will get a 10% relaxation.
Candidates who have passed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) with a minimum of 55% marks and have studied mathematics and physics are eligible for admission into the course.
