AP LAWCET 2024 answer key challenge ends today; result date expected soon

NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will close the AP LAWCET answer key challenge window today, June 12. Candidates who appeared in the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET entrance exams will be able to raise objections against the answer key by uploading supporting documents on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The AP LAWCET result date 2024 is also expected to be announced soon.
The AP LAWCET exam was held on June 9 for admission into regular 3-year and 5-year LLB courses, and 2-year LLM courses for the academic year 2024-2025. The council will issue the AP LAWCET score card 2024 along with the results. Following the LAWCET results, the officials will begin the counselling process for seat allocation in the order of merit.
As per the qualifying criteria, general category candidates will have to obtain 35% ie. 42 marks out of total 120 marks, to be eligible for AP LAWCET counselling. For AP PGLCET, candidates will have to score 25% ie. 30 marks out of total 120 marks. There is no minimum qualifying marks set for the SC, ST, other reserved category students.
AP LAWCET rankings
Candidates will be allotted rank on the basis of marks obtained in the state-level entrance exam. In case of tie, the council will follow the factors given below to resolve.
- By considering the marks secured in part C of AP LAWCET and
- If the tie still persists, marks obtained in part B in AP LAWCET will be taken into consideration.
- Seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
The AP LAWCET rank 2024 is valid for admission in to 3-year and 5-year law courses for the academic year 2024-2025 only.
