AP POLYCET 2026 registration begins for diploma in engineering; exam on April 25

AP POLYCET 2026 question paper will contain a total of 120 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), including 50 in the Maths section, 40 in Physics, and 30 in Chemistry.
The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh has opened the registration portal for the AP POLYCET 2026 examination. Eligible candidates can apply for the AP POLYCET 2026 through the official website at polycetap.ap.gov.in by April 4.
The Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test 2026 (AP POLYCET) will be held on April 25 in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm. The hall ticket for the AP POLYCET will be issued one week before the exam, and the AP POLYCET 2026 result will be announced on May 10.
The pen-and-paper format AP POLYCET 2026 exam will be held in nearly 500 examination centres in 120 towns or cities in all 26 districts of the state. Urdu medium candidates will be given a separate centre in each region, where translation help will be provided during the examination.
The exam is conducted for admission to engineering and non-engineering diploma programmes at polytechnic colleges across the state.

Candidates who have passed Class 10 or SSC or equivalent from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the AP POLYCET 2026.
As per the exam pattern, the AP POLYCET 2026 question paper will contain a total of 120 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), including 50 in the Maths section, 40 in Physics, and 30 in Chemistry.
The syllabus of AP POLYCET 2026 is based on Class 10 subjects. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given one mark for each correct response, while there will be no negative marking.
