Use NowThe Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has published the round 3 allotment result for Assam National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2025 for admission to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programmes. A total of 751 candidates qualified in round 3 of the state quota seats.
Candidates can check the Assam NEET PG 2025 round 3 allotment results on the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.
According to the Assam NEET PG merit list, 95 candidates were shortlisted under the Scheduled Tribes (Plains) category and 39 under the Scheduled Tribes (Hills) category, while 86 candidates were selected under the State Health Quota (SHQ) and 3 under the PWD category.
The top choices for applicants in Assam NEET PG round 3 counselling are the Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati’s MS in General Surgery.

According to the Assam NEET PG counselling schedule, candidates allotted seats in round 3 will have to report to their respective colleges between February 18 and 19.

“Candidates who receive a new seat during the Assam NEET PG 2025 round 3 counselling will have to report to their newly allotted college with the acknowledgement receipts or documents proving they have submitted their certificates and testimonials from the previous college where they were admitted,” the official notice said.
All admitted candidates, including State Health Services Quota, will have to sign a registered agreement on Rs 100 stamp paper within two weeks, as per the Assam PG Medical admission rules 2021.
Candidates who have already taken admission under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) are required to submit a copy of their resignation or surrender acceptance letter from the respective college or institute.
