NEW DELHI: The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) will likely announce the NEET 2023 UG counselling dates for admission to the 2023-24 academic session soon. The AYUSH counselling process will be held for admission to bachelor of homeopathic medicine and surgery (BHMS), bachelor of unani medicine and surgery (BUMS), bachelor of ayurveda, medicine and surgery (BAMS) and bachelor of siddha medicine and surgery (BSMS) programmes. The AYUSH counselling website is aaccc.gov.in.

To participate in the AACCC UG counseling 2023, the candidates will be required to first register themselves at the official website of AACCC. The counselling committee conducts NEET UG counselling for all India quota seats at the government, government-aided medical colleges, deemed universities, central universities, and national institutes on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. State quota counselling is conducted by state authorities.

AYUSH Counseling NEET UG 2023: Types and rounds
AYUSH All India Quota (15%)
- There will be three rounds of AIQ online counseling -- round 1, round 2, round 3 or mop-up round.
- The seats remaining vacant under AIQ after 3rd or mop-Up round of AACCC counseling will be transferred or sent back to the respective states.
AYUSH Central Universities, National Institutes (100%)
- There will be four rounds of counseling -- round 1, round 2, round 3 or mop-up round, and stray vacancy round.
- Round 1, round 2 and round 3 or mop-up round will be conducted online by AACCC.
- The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Central University/National Institute, for which AACCC will forward the list of registered eligible Candidates to the respective Central University/ National Institute.
Deemed University (100%)
- There will be four rounds of counseling -- round 2, round 3 or mop-up round and stray vacancy round.
- While round 1, round 2, round 3 or mop-up round will be conducted online by AACCC, the stray vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities, for which AACCC will forward the list of registered eligible Candidates to the respective Deemed Universities.
- All UG/PG seats of Deemed Universities are un-reserved, i.e., reservation policy of central government is not applicable.
