BLAT 2019 postponed by four days; Exam to be held on May 16, 2019

New Delhi, February 15 : As per the official notification announced by Banaras Hindu University, BLAT 2019 has been postponed by four days. The entrance test which forms the basis of candidates' admissions into the university's five year integrated BA LLB (Hons.) programme was earlier scheduled to be held on May 12, 2019. As per the new exam date, it will be now held on May 16, 2019.
Unlike the previous years, BLAT 2019 will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The university has allotted 115 exam centres for the online test and 45 centres for the offline test across India. Candidates can choose any mode to take BLAT 2019 in while filling the application form. However, candidates should make sure that they put in their preferences only once they are sure, as they will not be allowed to change the mode and centre of examination after final submission of the application form.
BLAT 2019 is a two-hour objective based examination which is for a total of 450 marks. Candidates will be tested on the following topics - General Awareness and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Mental Ability, English Comprehension.
The BLAT 2019 application process is ongoing and is being conducted in the online mode. The last date to submit the application form is March 9, 2019.
About BLAT
Bachelor of Law Admission Test, also known as BLAT, is an entrance test conducted by Banaras Hindu University for admissions into its five year integrated LLB programme. Candidates need to take the test, score a mark which fulfils the cutoff mark announced by the university, and participate in the counselling round to secure a seat for themselves in the programme.
