NEW DELHI: The education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Friday launched Prabandh, a “progressive system” for “increasing transparency and accuracy” of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme, a central government scheme for school education.

Features of Prabandh include online submissions of annual plans and budgets at district and state level, tracking of funds and their release to the states, the minister said.

The minister also held discussions on “bridging social and gender gaps” and “promoting vocationalisation” through the SSA scheme.
