Bihar Board OFSS Admission: The board has directed principals of the concerned schools and colleges to update their bank account details on the OFSS portal between March 28 and April 2.

NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced that it will refund the application fee and prospectus fee collected from students enrolled in intermediate classes through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS). As per the official notice, an amount of Rs 200 per student will be refunded to the respective schools and colleges.
“It is hereby informed that the Bihar School Examination Board will refund the prospectus and application fee of Rs. 200 per student, which was collected from students enrolled in intermediate classes through OFSS, to the respective schools and colleges,” the English translation of the official notice said.
The board has informed that the bank account details of several institutions are either missing or incorrect in its records. A list of such institutions has been published on the OFSS website at ofssbihar.net. The board has directed principals of the concerned schools and colleges to update their bank account details on the OFSS portal between March 28 and April 2, 2025, to initiate the refund.
The principals and heads of the listed institutes will have to provide the following details on the OFSS portal
The official notice further states that principals, in-charge principals or headmasters of the concerned institutions must fill in their bank account details on OFSS. Otherwise, the application and prospectus fee will not be transferred, and they will be solely responsible.
The steps to update bank details on the OFSS portal are as follows:
“All the principals and their authorized representatives will carefully fill in the bank details of their school/college. If the bank details are filled incorrectly, the payment amount will be transferred to another bank account and the responsibility for this will be entirely of the concerned school/college principal or his authorized representative. Bihar School Examination Board will not be responsible for this,” the official notice further said.
