Majority of the IIMs have started their shortlisting process based on CAT 2024 scores. The IIM admission criteria 2025 is different for each intuition. Candidates who secured a high percentile in CAT 2024, typically above 97 percentile depending on the category and institute stand a chance of receiving IIM BLACKI interview calls.
Additionally, candidates with strong academic records, relevant work experience, and a well-rounded profile, including extracurricular achievements, are likely to be shortlisted for IIM interview calls.
Meeting institute-specific criteria such as academic requirements, eligibility criteria, professional experience are also required to receive an IIM BLACKI interview calls.

IIM Interview Calls: 14 candidates secured 100 percentile in CAT 2024
As per the statistics on CAT 2024 result PDF, a total of 14 candidates secured 100 percentile . Engineering students and male candidates dominated the top ranks. Among the 14 candidates who achieved a perfect 100 percentile, 13 were engineers, and the group included 13 males and one female.
Additionally, 29 candidates secured a 99.99 percentile, with 25 from engineering backgrounds and 4 from non-engineering fields. This group comprised 27 males and 2 females. Another 30 candidates achieved a 99.98 percentile.

Group Discussion (GD): Some IIMs conduct a group discussion, where a group of candidates discusses a topic provided by the panel.
