As per Neelima Kamrah, Principal KIIT World School, "The paper was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. The majority of students found Section A to be time-consuming. In the literauture section, questions were straightforward but required a thorough study of the chapters. Analysis, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking were the foundations of the questions. Most students should have been able to attempt the long-answer questions. The writing section included familiar topics, and allowed students enough opportunity to express themselves."

According to Mangala Vaid, Vice Principal, Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad, "The student's feedback regarding the question paper was that it was overall balanced and catered to their expectations of a standardised paper. Literature questions were direct along with the reference to context, which gave a thorough understanding of the text. The reading section which included comprehension was standardised and required brainstorming, and the writing portion was as per the methodology used in classrooms. Students were happy that the school has incorporated and initiated remedial classes for the better understanding and clearing doubts of the children which helped them a lot. There were two errors in set -3, in comprehension b. Overall, the paper was balanced with the right mix of direct and critical thinking-based questions."
Denying rumours on Class 10, 12 paper leak, the board said that CBSE has been working with the Delhi Police special cell to take action against persons involved in circulating fake news using social media platforms.

As per experts in the field, the CBSE Class 10 English language and literature exam was entirely NCERT-based. "The paper aimed to test the student’s knowledge and understanding of the prescribed text, their critical thinking skills and their ability to articulate their thoughts coherently," Academic Director Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir Delhi said.
As analysed by Pratibha Sharma, Academic Director Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir Delhi, there was no error in the CBSE English Language and Literature question paper.
Sharma said questions in Set 1 and 2 were absolutely similar and easy, but a few questions in Set 3 Grammar, Writing and Literature Section were different.
Regarding difficulty level, Section A Passages were not tricky but the questions were value based however the second passage required resolute focus of the students.
- Pratibha Sharma, Academic Director Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir Delhi
Prerna Pandit, TGT English, DPS Indirapuram said, "The English language literature paper was fairly balanced with a moderate difficulty level. The questions were quite direct and in accordance with the pattern of the CBSE sample paper."
CBSE said in a public notice that it will take action against those spreading rumours on social media about paper leak. "Public is therefore alerted against such unverified news and rumours during the ongoing exams and further requested not to participate in such activities or spread such information through any form of communication to maintain the sanctity of examinations at all cost," it said.
According to Sanchita, PGT English, Pacific world school, "Class X Board Examination English question paper was balanced. However, students found the reading comprehension questions to be direct. The paper could cater to all levels of students."
"According to the students, the Literature section was effortless as comparative to reading passages. On the whole, the exam fetched ambivalent reactions from students and the teachers alike. I reckon such an ambiguous commencement of the exams must have motivated the students to work harder for their other exams," as per MRG School, Sakshi, PGT English, Rohini.
According to MRG School, Sakshi, PGT English, Rohini, "Grade X English Language and Literature question paper was counter balanced which could be well attempted by the students contrary to the rumour that paper would be a hard nut to crack this time. Reading Passages were easily comprehensible however coupled with gnarly questions. In addition to this, Analytical paragraph writing also baffled the students."
