NEW DELHI, APRIL 10: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the CBSE class 10 and 12 examinations in Punjab that were cancelled on April 2, 2018. As per a notice released by the Board, the new date for the postponed exams is April 27. On April 2, all CBSE exams scheduled to be held in Punjab were due to 'Bharat Bandh'.
The timings for the exam are 10:30 am 1:30 pm. For Class 10, the subjects that are to be held on the new date are French, Sanskrit and Urdu Course -B. For class 12, the subjects are Hindi elective, Gujarati, Nepali, Kashmiri and Hindi core. The roll number and examination centre allotted to the students as per their admit cards remains same.
Meanwhile, CBSE is re-conducting the Class 12 Economics paper on April 25 due to paper leak. While earlier, both Economics and Mathematics were supposed to be re-conducted, the Board later decided that the Mathematics paper would not be held again in the larger interest of students. The board also doubted any major impact that paper leak may have in final results.
Besides arresting a coaching centre owner and 2 teachers and a tutor in Delhi, Police has also apprehended three people, including a teacher, clerk and support staff, in Himachal Pradesh in connection to the case.
