NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 1: Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has started providing psychological counselling service to students and parents to cope with the exam stress. The counselling service have begun from today for 10th and 12th standard exams and will continue till April 4. The counselling service will be available between 8 am to 10 pm on all days.

This is the 22nd edition of the psychological counselling service to overcome the issues related to exam stress. From this year the tele-counselling process will be provided through Interactive Voice Responses (IVRS) on a toll free number where students/parents can get pre-recorded useful information on tackling board exams, time-table and admit card. It includes preparation tips for the exam, time and stress management, FAQs along with live tele-counselling service.

How to use CBSE tele-counselling service?

  • Call on toll free number 1800 11 8004

  • Now choose the options as per choice

  • Pre-recorded information will guide to de-stress students/parents.

The tele-counselling is offered by Principals and trained counsellors from within CBSE affiliated schools located in and outside the country

CBSE will also prepare audio-visual (AV) presentation titled ‘Knowing Children Better’ and will upload it on its official website.
