Download NowCBSE : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Class 10 compartment exam from July 15 and for Class 12 on July 15 (only one day). The application form filling process for CBSE supplementary exams for Class 10, 12 students will begin on May 30. The CBSE Class 10 compartment exam 2025 time table will be released soon.

Private students can apply for the compartment or improvement exam on the official website, cbse.gov.in, while regular students' applications will be submitted by their respective schools.
The application form filling last date is June 17. The CBSE compartment exam form filling with late fee will begin on June 18 till 19.
Candidates have to submit Rs 300 for each subject; candidates from outside India have to pay Rs 2000 per subject, and candidates from Nepal have to submit Rs 1000 as the CBSE supplementary exam application fee. The application form filling fee for all candidates with late submission is Rs 2000.

CBSE Board Supplementary Exams 2025: Subject replacement
Students can apply for the CBSE compartment exam 2025 for Class 10 and improve their results after the replacement of subjects in the main examination. Class 10 students can change their subjects from standard maths (subject code 041) to basic maths (subject code 241).
Additionally, students of Class 10, 12 have to submit their application for compartment 1st and 3rd exams. For the improvement of performance in 1 subject for Class 12 and for Class 10, improvement in 2 subjects can be submitted.
As per the official CBSE notice, students who appeared for the CBSE 2023-24 exam and did not qualify for the compartment exam in 1st or 2nd chance can appear for 3rd compartment exam only as private candidates.
CBSE will not allow any extension for submission of applications or LOC after the given deadline.
CBSE Board 2025 Class 10 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 18, and Class 12 exams were held from February 15 to April 4. CBSE board exam 2025 results were declared on May 13.
