CBSE has mandated 75 percent attendance and internal assessment for candidates to be eligible for appearing in board exams. Students should also have studied all the subjects including additional subject for two years.
In some relaxation, the board has allowed schools to submit the List of Candidates (LoC) without the APAAR ID , by making ‘refused’ or ‘not generated’ entries, after schools complaint of technical issues, lack of parental consent, other issues.
While it will be mandatory for students to take the first phase exam, the phase 2 is optional for students to wish to improve their scores, CBSE clarified. The board announced holding board exams twice a year in February this year.
