NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) between December 2022 to January 2023. Candidates who have registered for the CTET 2022 exam have taken to social media to request the ministry of education to consider CTET candidates for Kendriya Vidyalaya recruitment 2022.
The CBSE Board is expected to declare the CTET 2022 exam dates soon on the official website, ctet.nic.in.
Meanwhile, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started the online application process for KVS recruitment 2022 to various teaching and non-teaching posts for a total of 6,990 posts. Kendriya Vidyalaya conducts direct recruitment of teachers.
Aspirants have claimed that the KVS has “disallowed CTET appearing candidates to compete in the recruitment process”. The CBSE CTET exam 2022 is held twice every year, however, this year the July session was not conducted by the board.
Candidates said that due to the delay in conducting CTET exam during COVID-19 pandemic and delay in declaring final year results for BEd and DElEd, aspirants could not appear in the CTET 2021 exams.

Addressing the education ministry, CTET December 2022 candidates in a letter said, “We request you to allow CTET 2022 appearing candidates in KV recruitment in the same way as you allowed CTET students in 2018.” They have also asked the ministry to announce age relaxation for the recruitment due the delay caused by the pandemic in recruitment.
Respected @PMOIndia @narendramodi @dpradhanbjp Sir, in 2018 CTET appearings got chance because of 2years' gap in exam. In 2022 can't we get any chance after a 4years' long gap? Is this what should be the reward of our trust on the government?

Requesting the government to give a chance for CTET candidates to be considered for KVS vacancies, another candidate said it is not the “mistake” of the students that the CBSE CTET exam was not conducted twice in 2022.
