CBSE Extends CTET Application Deadline Again; Now Apply Till March 14

NEW DELHI, MARCH 13: The last date to fill the application form of CTET 2019 has been extended yet again. Aspirants can now fill the application form till March 14, 2019. However, the date of online correction of application form and payment of application fee remains the same as before. Candidates who could not fill the application form as per the previous closing date, can now fill the form till the revised scheduled dates.
Earlier also, the authority had extended the date of CTET application form deadline , according to which the application form could be filled till March 12, 2019 only. But, the recent notification mentioning the extension in form filling deadline again, has provided 2 more days for the candidates to fill the application form.
To fill CTET application form 2019 , candidates must visit the official website - https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/public/home.aspx# and click on the application form link. Candidates must fill all the details correctly in the application form.
Any desired modification in the application form can be done by the candidates from March 25 to April 1, 2019.
Apart from this, the authority has released a revised eligibility criteria of CTET exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed their graduation with at least 50% marks and hold a degree in B.Ed can apply for paper I. However, the revised notification mentions that all such candidates who have passed their graduation with B. Ed. prior to NCTE Principal notification dated 23/08/2010 regarding determination of minimum qualification of teachers to be appointed in school shall also be entertained by CBSE subject to final decision of Hon’ble Court.
Candidates who successfully fill the application form within the allotted time frame along with the payment of application fee will be issued the admit card for the test which is scheduled to be held on July 7, 2019
CTET exam is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to determine the eligibility of the candidates as teachers in classes 1 to 8. The exam is conducted in offline mode for two papers - paper I and II. The test for paper I is for those who wish to become teachers in classes 1 to 5 while paper II is for those who wish to become teachers from classes 6 to 8.
