Chhattisgarh TET 2024 result out vyapam.cgstate.gov.in; category-wise passing marks

NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) has announced the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the eligibility test can download the CG TET 2024 scorecards through the official website at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. The board board has declared the CG TET results for the teaching eligibility exam for primary classes from 1 to 5.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the Chhattisgarh TET 2024 result 2024.

According to the official guidelines, candidates from the general category must secure at least 60%, equivalent to 90 marks, to pass the exam. For candidates belonging to OBC, SC, and ST categories, a minimum score of 55%, or 82 marks, is required to qualify. These qualifying marks determine the eligibility for teaching positions in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh TET 2024 selection process

The Chhattisgarh TET 2024 selection process typically follows these steps:

1. Written Examination : The CG Vyapam TET 2024 consists of two papers: Paper I : For candidates applying to teach classes 1-5. Paper II : For those applying to teach classes 6-8. Both papers test subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and Social Science.

2. Minimum Qualifying Marks : To qualify, candidates must achieve the minimum required marks based on their category:

   • General category: 60% (90 marks)
   • OBC, SC, ST categories: 55% (82 marks)

3. Result Declaration : After the exam, the results are announced by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam). Qualified candidates are deemed eligible for teaching positions.

4. Certificate Issuance : Candidates who pass the exam receive a TET qualification certificate, which is valid for a specific period and is required to apply for government or private teaching jobs in Chhattisgarh.

5. Merit List and Recruitment : Eligible candidates are shortlisted for teaching positions based on merit, which may include interviews or further screening, depending on the specific recruitment process for schools in Chhattisgarh.
