NEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducted the ICSE, ISC board exams in one-term this year. The board divided the syllabus into two terms like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) last year. However, the CISCE board gave equal weightage to both the terms. The ICSE 10th, ISC 12th results 2023 will be declared today at 3 PM at cisce.org. CISCE ICSE 10th, ISC 12th result 2023 LIVE Updates
Before the declaration of results, let’s take a look at how the ICSE, ISC marks calculation will be different compared to last year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, almost all boards followed alternate assessment criteria to declare results. Last year, CBSE and CISCE announced to decided to hold the board exams in two terms. Term 1 was multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based.
However, CBSE announced to give 30% weightage to term 1 and 70% to term 2, while CISCE decided to give equal weightage to both the terms.
This year, CISCE held the exam in the pre-pandemic format. Therefore, students will have to calculate the marks as per the old format. Each subject carries 100 marks. The total percentage is calculated by adding the marks secured in each subject and dividing it by 500 and multiplying it by 100. Total percentage = Total marks secured in five subjects/500 x 100.
The ISC 10th, ICSE 12th result link 2023 will be activated at 3 PM today, cisce.org 2023, results.cisce.org 2023 or careers.cisce.org. Students will also be able to check marks through SMS and DigiLocker.
