ICSE Results 2023 (OUT) Live: CISCE 10th, ISC 12th result at cisce.org active; toppers, highest percentage

Students of Greenwood High, Bengaluru, have topped in Karnataka state in both ICSE result 2023 and ISC result 2023. In ICSE, the toppers from the school, Anondee Saha with an aggregate of 99.60% and Divyansh Agrawal and Shivani Neelamraju with an aggregate of 99.40% ranked second and fourth in Karnataka, respectively. 

In ISC, the topper from the school, Sebanti Hui ranked first in Karnataka with 99.25%.

Of a total of 311 foreign students who appeared in ISC Class 12 board exams 2023, 308 students have passed the exam. 3 students have failed.

This year's ISC toppers Subham Kumar Agarwal and Manya Gupta belong to the same state, West Bengal. While Agarwal studied from St Joseph's School, Bhaktinagar, Gupta did Class 12 from The Heritage School, Kolkata. 

This year, the highest marks in ICSE Class 10 exams 2023 are 499. A total of 9 students achieved 499 marks each to become ICSE 10th toppers. 

One of the ICSE 12th toppers 2023, Riyaa Agarwal studied in Sanskriti the Gurukul, Guwahati, Assam. She scored 399 marks and belongs to general category. Her percentage is 99.75%.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration directed private recognised schools not to force parents of students to purchase textbooks, stationery and uniforms from any particular shop. CISCE had split the ICSE, ISC board exams in two terms for 2021 session however it came back to pre-pandemic format in 2022 exams for which the results will be declared today. The calculation of marks will be different in comparison to that done in post pandemic year.

CISCE will hold a press conference at 3pm today to announce ICSE 10th result 2023. "The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, a premier private national board, is holding a press conference to announce the results of Class 10 (ICSE).....on Sunday, 14th May, 2023 at 3 pm," the board said in an official notification.

To pass the ISC exams 2023, students must attain a minimum of 35 percent marks in four or more subjects where English is compulsory. And to pass the ICSE Class 10 exam, students need to score 33 percent marks in each subject and aggregate.
