NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 tomorrow, June 19, 2022. The CLAT 2022 will be held in more than 80 cities across the country. Candidates are advised to prepare themselves for the exam day and keep all the necessary documents and items required for appearing in the CLAT 2022.

The consortium has already issued various guidelines for the candidates appearing in the examination. In view of the COVID-19, some additional instructions have been issued.

Candidates should carry the following items to their exam centre;

Reporting time - Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall from 1:30 pm. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam, and no extra time will be given to such latecomers.
Thermal screening - Candidates will have to undergo thermal screening before entering the exam hall. The candidate whose body temperature exceeds 99.14° F or shows any symptoms of COVID-19 will be given a separate room within the test centre.
COVID-19 positive candidates - Such candidates who have been tested COVID-19 positive recently and are in isolation are not allowed to appear in the examination.
Verification - Candidates must have a valid photo identification card issued by the government authorities. They should also carry a copy of their CLAT 2022 admit card and a passport sizer photograph for verification purposes. Candidates who fail to produce CLAT 2022 admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

The consortium has issued an advisory for candidates who have their exam centres in Guwahati, Shillong, Imphal, and Gangtok.
All candidates who have their test centres in the North East region are advised to reach a day before the exam at the city where their respective exam centres are located to avoid last-minute issues of rains, soil slides, and other blockades.
Candidates who have their exam centre in Shillong, Meghalaya will have to report at the following venue.
