NEW DELHI: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) are the most popular law entrance exams in India. CLAT 2022 will be conducted for admission to 22 NLUs, on June 19, 2022. Whereas, AILET 2022 for admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes offered by the National Law University (NLU) Delhi will be held on June 26, 2022. Many candidates have applied for both exams to increase their chances of admission to top NLUs. Hence, the preparation for CLAT 2022 and AILET 2022 should be done simultaneously.

Candidates can prepare for both CLAT and AILET from the same books. Hence, no separate books are required.
Questions in English and legal aptitude are likely to be comprehension based in both these exams. Candidates, therefore, need to practice similar questions for both exams. Topics such as vocabulary, grammar, idioms and phrases, antonyms and synonyms are common in both exams,
For the logical reasoning and maths section, it is better to learn the short tricks to attempt questions easily in this section.
Reading newspapers and current affairs of the past six to seven months is recommended for both CLAT and AILET 2022 preparation.
As the questions will be framed from the same subjects hence, practising more and more mock tests will help candidates in analysing their strong and weak points.
Both CLAT and AILET 2022 will be lengthy papers, therefore, time management on the exam day is very crucial to complete the test within the given time. Candidates should learn to manage time by solving the mock tests in a real test-like environment.
Meanwhile, the consortium has released the admit card for CLAT 2022 on June 06, 2022. The NLU Delhi will release the AILET admit card tomorrow, June 16, 2022. There is a one week gap between the CLAT and AILET exams. It will be a second opportunity for many candidates to secure admission to a top national law university.
