CLAT 2023 exam tomorrow; Important instructions for candidates

Download EbookNEW DELHI: The national level law entrance exam CLAT 2023 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, December 18, from 2 pm to 4 pm. The CLAT 2023 will be conducted at 127 test centres in 23 states and 2 union territories across India. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) had issued the exam instructions to all the participating candidates. Candidates are advised to adhere to the guidelines mentioned on their respective CLAT 2023 admit cards on the exam day.

Important instructions for candidates

Reporting to the test Centre and test timings

Candidates can enter the test centre premises from 01 pm onwards
-
Candidates who arrive later than 2:15 pm will not be permitted into the exam hall and no one will be permitted to leave before 04 pm

Permitted items

CLAT 2023 admit card (In case the photograph is not clear on the admit card, bring a self-attested photograph)
-
A Government ID proof
-
Black or blue ballpoint pen
-
Transparent water bottle
-
Face mask
-
An analogue watch
-
PwDs/ SAPs should carry their original Disability Certificate

Items not permitted:
-
Electronic devices including mobile phones, headphones and digital watches
-
Attendance: Write the QB number, and the OMR sheet number, and sign in the space/ column provided in the attendance sheet circulated during the test

Question booklet and OMR sheet
-
Question booklet (QB) will contain 150 multiple choice questions and 2 blank pages for rough work. No additional sheet(s) of paper will be supplied for rough work.

Enter your admit card number on the first page of the QB at the beginning of the test

Answer the questions in the separate carbonised Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet supplied along with the QB using black or blue ball point pen only.

Candidates can retain the QB and the candidate’s copy of the OMR sheet after the test.

Marking scheme

Every right answer secures 1 (one) mark. Every wrong answer results in the deduction of 0.25 marks.

There will be no deductions for unanswered questions.
