Candidates applying for COGJET 2024 will have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 1,000.
NEW DELHI: Centre of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS)- Allahabad University and International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Hyderabad) has extended the Cognitive Science Joint Entrance Test (COGJET 2024) registration date till January 31. Candidates can apply for the exam on the official website, cogjet2024.in.
The COGJET 2024 is held for admission into MSc in Cognitive Science and Integrated MSc-PhD program in Cognitive Science at CBCS, and PhD in Cognitive Science at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H). Candidates applying for the exam should have completed bachelor’s degree (three and four year programme) in subjects related to cognitive science and psychology, or in biological, physical, analytical science or in engineering, medical science or in management studies. Applicants should have completed or expect to finish their degree by June 2024.
COGJET 2024 fee
Students will have to pay a fee of a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 1,000. Applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC (NCL) and PwD categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 700.

COGJET 2024 is an enabling exam providing a performance card to each candidate. The exam does not automatically guarantee eligibility for admission; individual institutions may have additional eligibility conditions in addition to COGJET 2024 and may also allow other national exams like GATE, NET etc. For more details candidates can visit the websites of CBCS and IIIT Hyderabad.
The COGJET 2024 will have 40 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), which have to be attempted in two hours. The syllabus, available on the COGJET 2024 portal, includes topics from cognitive psychology, neuroscience, mathematics, programming, and general reasoning.
