NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct CTET 2021 in offline mode on January 31, 2021. Candidates who are appearing in the CTET exam must check the detailed exam pattern of CTET for a better understanding of the CTET question paper. CBSE has also released the CTET admit card 2021 for the registered candidates on the official website - ctet.nic.in . The authority provides a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes separately for both the Paper-I and Paper-II.
The conducting authority also released the notice regarding COVID-19 guidelines. Applicants need to follow the social distancing guidelines and use of mask and gloves is compulsory at the CTET exam centre.
CTET exam pattern 2021
As we know that the CTET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility for teachers in government schools of national level such as Navodaya and Kendriya Vidyalaya. As per the CTET exam pattern, there will be two papers. Paper - I is for primary level (Class 1 to 5) whereas Paper - II is for elementary level (Class 6 to 8). There will be five sections in both the papers consisting of 30 questions from each section.
There will be 150 questions in total and candidates will be awarded with 1 mark for each correct answer. One major benefit that the candidates will get is the option to attempt all the questions as there will be no negative marking for wrong responses. In Paper - II, candidates need to solve questions either from mathematics and science or social studies/social science.

The CTET exam is conducted once every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Last year, the exam was postponed due to an outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and now scheduled on January 31, 2021.
