CUET UG 2026: NTA issues advisory for aspirants; exam in May

Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for the Common University Entrance (CUET UG 2026) aspirants. NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2026 in May. Candidates can apply for CUET UG 2026 on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in, once the application form is available.
NTA will provide an opportunity to correct the details of candidates in case of a name mismatch in the Aadhaar Card and Class 10 marksheet details during the online CUET UG application process 2026.
Earlier, NTA asked candidates to update their Aadhaar, UDID card, and category certificate before the CUET UG 2026 application begins, to avoid any discrepancy at a later stage.
NTA will require candidates' date of birth details, gender, address from the UDID certificate through Aadhaar authentication, and other details for the CUET UG 2026 application process.
However, since the names of parents and gurdian is not recorded in Aadhaar, candidates would have to fill such details separately in the CUET UG 2026 application form as per the NTA notice.

According to the official NTA notice, the details of programmes and courses offered by the Central Universities (CUs) and participating universities are available at the CUET (UG) portal and on the respective University website.
Candidates can download the CUET UG 2026 syllabus on the official website. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in computer based test for admission to UG courses at 47 central universities and more than 300 colleges across the country.
