NEW DELHI: The Cochin University of Science and Technology has published the Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT) 2024 answer key today, May 24. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam can download the CUSAT CAT 2024 final answer key by visiting the official website, admissions.cusat.ac.in.

CUSAT CAT was conducted on May 10, 11, and 12, 2024. The CUSAT CAT 2024 exam was held online as a computer-based test. The duration of the exam was 3 hours, and there were a total of 225 questions.

Candidates will require their email Id and password to access the CUSAT CAT 2024 final answer key. The CUSAT CAT 2024 result date is not yet announced. The CUSAT CAT 2024 result PDF will contain the names of candidates, marks, and their All-India rankings.

CUSAT CAT 2024 score calculation

Candidates can check their probable score with CUSAT CAT 2024 final answer key. The following formula is used to calculate CUSAT CAT 2024 score: S = 3R - 1W

In this formula, S represents the CUSAT CAT score, R signifies the count of correct responses, and W indicates the count of incorrect responses. As per the CUSAT CAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will receive 3 marks for each correct answer, and there will be a negative marking for each incorrect answer.

CUSAT CAT 2024 Result: Rank calculation

The CUSAT CAT 2024 ranks are determined based on percentile index. To secure a CUSAT CAT 2024 rank, students are required to achieve a minimum of 10 marks in mathematics, 10 marks in physics and chemistry in the entrance exam. The percentile index is computed using the formula: [(n+1-p)/n)]x S x 100

Here, 'n' represents the total number of candidates appearing for the exam in a specific subject, 'p' signifies the position based on the CUSAT CAT score, and 'S' denotes the candidate's actual score.

Upon computing the percentile index, the authorities consolidate these indices to determine each candidate's position in the CUSAT CAT 2024 rank list for a specific engineering program.
