NEW DELHI: The new exam dates for MHT CET 2020 will be decided next week in a meeting, said Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant. As per the reports from TOI, the decision on MHT CET 2020 dates will be announced after the meeting which will be held in next 7-8 days.
Earlier, it was reported that the MHT CET commissioner has sent a proposal to the state government for conducting the exam. The dates for CET 2020 will be announced as soon as the government finalises the schedule.
A total of 5.5 lakh students have registered for CET 2020. Conducting the examination amid covid-19 pandemic for such a large number of candidates while maintaining social distancing and hygiene is the biggest concern, said Uday Samant.

MHT CET 2020 was earlier scheduled for June, later postponed to July and now deferred till further notice.
There were also reports that JEE Main score might be considered for admission in B.Tech courses in Maharashtra, which was denied by MHT CET commissioner.
