Delhi University prepares UG results within record 30 days

The results of 64 UG courses have been prepared and the results of the remaining 10 courses are also being compiled.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Despite the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, the University of Delhi has been able to prepare the DU UG results within a short span of 30 days. This is the shortest amount of time Delhi University has ever taken to announce any semester examination results.

"The last exam was held on June 28, and since then the results of 88 per cent of the UG courses have been prepared. Only 56 copies of the Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses in Delhi University are left to be checked," DU dean of examination, DS Rawat told IANS .

He said in the report that this is the first time in the history of Delhi University that the UG results will be prepared within 30 days and, as far as the result of BA programmes is concerned, it will be declared within the next two to three days.

The report further said that the results for some of the programmes were prepared in not more than two days. As of now, the DU results of 64 UG courses have been prepared and the results of the remaining 10 courses are also being compiled.
DU exams for absent students
The University of Delhi is also planning to conduct the DU exams for the students who were not able to sit for the examination, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The examinations are likely to be held in the month of August.
“The University of Delhi on the basis of recommendations of the working group of the examinations is considering to conduct the examinations of final semesters/term/year for May-June 2021 for the leftover students who could not write examinations as either they or any of their family members were affected bt Covid-19 pandemic,” reads the official notification available on DU’s website.
