The merit list of the selected candidates will be released from November 16 (10 am) to November 17 (11:59 pm). There will be no movement in the DU special drive cut-off list 2021 and the candidates who have already taken admission under any of the previous cut-off list will not be allowed to participate in the special drive.
“Candidates who could not seek admission or had cancelled their admission in any of the college of the university during any of the preceding cut-offs for any reason till the fifth cutoff (including special cut-off) and were, therefore, not admitted but meet any of the preceding cut-offs and/or cutoff of the special drive, shall be considered for admission under the special drive, provided seats are available in the said category,” reads an official notification available on DU’s official website.
Manish Kansal, admission convenor of Hindu College said “The college has no information about the special drive admission. One possibility could be that the admissions will be made only in the vacant seats. I think the admissions will be done on the basis of merit. The university will decide if they will prepare merit or release cut-off in the special drive.”
The admissions for DU 2021 special cut-off list will begin from November 14 and will be over on November 15 (5 pm). The Delhi University will approve the admission of the students on the basis of the special drive cut-off list of DU 2021 by November 16. Candidates can pay the admission fee under the special drive cut off of DU 2021 by November 19 (5 pm).
The DU fifth cut-off 2021 was released on November 8 and the admission under the 5th cut-off list started from Tuesday. The last date to pay the DU admission fee against the fifth cut-off list was November 12.
In the fifth cut-off list of DU 2021 many Delhi University colleges closed admissions for the majority of their programmes, while many like Aryabhatta College, Kirori Mal College and Ramjas College reopened admissions for some of the courses.
