Download NowThe University of Delhi (UoD) has announced the schedule for admission to its undergraduate (UG) for the academic year 2026-27 through Common Seat Allocation System for Undergraduate Admissions (CSAS UG). This year, the university is offering 73 UG courses and 150 BA programme combinations.

The DU UG admissions phase 2 registration process will begin from July 3 and candidates will be able to register for various bachelor’s programmes by July 11 through the official portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
According to the official notification, candidates must complete their phase 1 registration by paying the requisite application fee to take part in the phase 2 registration.
DU UG Admissions 2026: Map CUET UG test papers with Class 12 subjects
Notably, for admission to the UoD, it is mandatory for candidates to appear in the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2026 for those subjects in which they passed Class 12.
“Candidates will be required to map the subjects studied in Class 12 with the Test papers in which they have appeared in CUET(UG)-2026. Language/Domain specific subject that is similar/closely related to the subject s(he) has studied at Class XII,” the university said in the notice.
Moreover, in the preference option, candidates can choose as many programmes plus college combinations as they wish, subject to meeting the programme-specific eligibility criteria, the notice added.
“Candidates must take utmost care while selecting the Programme/s and College/s as the order of selection of the Programme + College combination will also determine the preference order,” it read.

However, they can reorder their preference to prioritize the order of programme plus college combinations through "Top, Bottom and Preference Number" icons.
Applicants must not forget to click on “SAVE” the preferences on regular intervals. “The candidates must preview the "Preference Selection" to confirm their saved choices. Upon reaching the deadline of Phase II, the saved preferences will automatically get locked and will be used for allocations,” the university said.
Furthermore, after submitting their programme fees, candidates will get an option to choose “Upgrade or Freeze”, where they can choose “upgrade” to reorder their higher preferences within the duration of the round in which the admission was sought.
“The candidates can reorder the higher preferences as many times as they wish for till the deadline of the respective round,” it added.
